• A spray bottle filled with water
• A clip to section your hair
• A mirror

Note: Before you begin, ensure your natural hair and clip-in extensions are washed, styled, and completely dry for the best results.

How to Install a 110g Set of Clip-In Hair Extensions

Step 1: Start from the Bottom

You’ll Need: One 3-clip weft
Begin at the nape of your neck. Use your fingers to create an even horizontal part, sectioning off a small portion of hair. Secure the rest of your hair with a clip.

Take a 3-clip weft and secure it at the center of the section, as close to the roots as possible. Clip the middle first, followed by the left and right clips, pulling the weft taut for a snug fit.

Pro Tip: To prevent slipping, gently tease the roots or create slight leverage by pulling the hair away from your scalp before clipping.

Step 2: Move Upward

You’ll Need: Another 3-clip weft
Create a new straight part about half an inch above the first weft. Clip away the excess hair.

Take the second 3-clip weft, fit it within the section, and secure the middle clip first, followed by the side clips. Stretch the weft slightly to ensure a flat, bump-free finish.

Step 3: Halfway There!

You’ll Need: Two 4-clip wefts
Section your hair about half an inch above your last weft, at the widest part of your head. Clip away the remaining hair.

Start by installing the first 4-clip weft. Place the center of the weft at the middle of your head and secure it, pulling the weft toward the left side. Clip the middle clips first, then secure the sides.

Repeat the process with the second 4-clip weft, starting at the edge of the first weft. Clip across your head to the right side, ensuring the two wefts align without gaps.

Step 4: The Finish Line!

You’ll Need: Two 2-clip wefts
For the final section, create a thin part about an inch above your latest weft. These smaller wefts will add volume to the sides for a seamless, natural look.

Take one 2-clip weft and secure the clip closest to your hairline first. Attach the second clip closer to the back of your head. Repeat on the other side.

Final Touch

Release the remaining hair, blend it with your extensions, and voilà—you’re ready to flaunt your new look!
